Football tips today for Sweden – Serbia

Let’s get back to our football tips today. We are heading to Solna where Sweden will host Serbia in a game from League B of the UEFA Nations League.

Sweden are aiming to win this group and move up to League A, but in their previous game they suffered a defeat. Janne Andersson’s team hosted Norway, but they were unable to keep Erling Haaland quiet as he scored twice for a 2-1 win. Now the Swedish side must aim to get the three points on Thursday.

It’s very possible to see Janne Andersson making some changes to his line-up against Serbia. Manchester United’s young star Anthony Elanga is one of the players who could bring some flair to Sweden’s game. Meanwhile Jesper Karlstrom is an option for trying something new in midfield.

Sweden needs some better performance from their star striker Alexander Isak. Real Sociedad’s forward is still looking for his first goal in the Nations League for the season. He started both games so far, but didn’t score any goals. It’d be much easier for Sweden if Isak finds his scoring boots.

Serbia started their Nations League campaign with a loss, but in the second round they showed their teeth. The Balkan side hosted Slovenia and made some solid performance for a 4-1 win. The quality is there and now they could use this confidence to hurt Sweden on Thursday.

Four different players scored for Serbia against Slovenia. Aleksandar Mitrovic opened the score in the first half while Milinkovic-Savic, Jovic and Radonjic finished the job after the break. This was exactly what the manager Dragan Stojkovic wants to see from his boys.

That’s the football tips today for the Nations League clash between Sweden and Serbia. These two teams have the same amount of points in the group so far. Let’s see what they are going to offer us.
